Description

Begin with a guided hike along a small trail to the 300-foot launch site at Little Black - Black Mountain Gliderport, located within San Diego’s open space park. At the summit, your certified instructor will introduce you to paragliding basics and prepare you for your first tandem flight.

While gearing up, enjoy panoramic views of the valley below and the Pacific Ocean on the horizon. Depending on wind conditions, your flight will either glide smoothly down the hillside or catch thermals for a longer ride. You will experience the sensation of floating above the landscape, with opportunities to spot local wildlife and observe the park’s unique terrain.

Your instructor provides hands-on guidance, allowing you to try basic controls and gain an authentic introduction to paragliding.

The experience ends with a gentle landing at the base of the launch or a designated landing area. From there, you can choose to explore the park further or return to your starting point.
