The Urban Adventure Quest turns San Diego into a giant board game, mixing the excitement of the Amazing Race with a 3-hour sightseeing experience.
Guided by any smartphone, teams navigate through popular and lesser-known sites, solving puzzles and completing challenges to learn about the city’s history.
The adventure starts at Waterfront Park, progressing through Little Italy, the waterfront, and war memorials along a 2.5-mile walking route. The tour also includes one segment using the downtown transit system. The smartphone guide allows you to start anytime and set your own pace.
Along the way, you can pause for a stroll or a snack, such as gelato in Little Italy. The Quest is priced per group, making it economical for budget travelers.
