Description
Travel through San Diego in a brand new Vandherall luxury GoCar. Experience western and Mexican culture while driving through Little Italy. Learn about the US Navy’s presence by visiting the Naval Attack Submarine base, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, and Point Loma Lighthouse on this GPS-guided tour.
Starting in Old Town, drive towards Point Loma and Liberty Station, a former Naval Training Center now transformed into a mixed-use community. Continue to Shelter Island for views of the submarine base, then head to Cabrillo National Monument and the Point Loma ecological preserve to see the historic lighthouse.
Stop at the tide pools to see local marine life before finishing your tour by driving past Sunset Cliffs and into Ocean Beach, known for its many independently owned shops.

Important Information
- GoCars seat a maximum of 2 people. Prices apply per vehicle, not per person.
- Renters must be 25 years or older with a valid driver’s license and major credit card. International licenses are not required. GoCars do not accommodate child car seats.
- A security deposit will be held on your credit card on rental day until the GoCar is returned. All riders must sign a participant agreement. Collision Damage Waiver insurance can be purchased on site.
- Rental time can be extended on the day of your tour in 15-minute increments, with additional charges applied.
- Cars must be returned to the rental location before dusk.
