Description
Swim with playful sea lions and observe marine creatures hiding in rocky reefs, such as spiny lobsters, octopus, rays, and schools of vibrant fish. The tour takes place along a rugged coastline with unique underwater terrain.
This tour requires participants to be good swimmers comfortable in deep water without a life jacket, capable of handling ocean waves, currents, and shore entry and exit. Life jackets and flotation devices are not allowed on this tour.
Snorkel from La Jolla Cove through Emerald Cove, passing dramatic sea caves along the marine sanctuary coastline. All essential gear—mask, snorkel, fins, and wetsuit—is provided by experienced local guides.

Important Information
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Minimum weight: 90 lbs (41 kg)
- Ages 12–17 must snorkel with a parent or legal guardian
- Participants must be comfortable swimming in deep water without a life jacket
- Flotation devices and life jackets are not permitted
- Wetsuits are required and available for participants up to 300 lbs
- Parking is limited; allow at least 30 minutes for arrival
- Tours depart on time; guests more than 10 minutes late will be considered no-shows
