Description

Hotel Pickup or Local Meet-Up + Tour Orientation Your adventure begins with hotel pickup in La Jolla or a meet-up at our starting point, where you’ll be greeted by your guide and introduced to our custom electric golf cart. After a quick orientation and safety briefing, settle in with complimentary bottled water and light snacks as we set off to explore “the jewel by the sea.” La Jolla Cove & Beyond First stop: the world-famous La Jolla Cove. Watch sea lions bask on the rocks, stroll Ellen Browning Scripps Park, and take in the sea-carved caves that inspired Dr. Seuss. With emerald waters, dramatic cliffs, and wildlife all around, it’s a postcard-perfect introduction. Children’s Pool, Tide Pools & Marine Street Beach Next, we visit three coastal gems. At Children’s Pool, learn how a seawall built for children became a safe haven for harbor seals. Just steps away, peek into tide pools that reveal sea stars, anemones, and other tiny marvels when the ocean cooperates. A quick ride brings us to Marine Street Beach — soft white sand, powerful surf, and a local favorite for its laid-back charm. Windansea Beach Continue to Windansea, a legendary surf break since the 1940s. Here, powerful waves crash against sandstone ledges and the iconic palm-frond Surf Shack stands as a monument to local surf culture. Hidden stairways and raw natural beauty make this stop both rugged and romantic — a true slice of Southern California spirit. Mount Soledad Climb nearly 900 feet to the top of Mount Soledad for panoramic views stretching from the Pacific Ocean to downtown San Diego, Coronado, and even Mexico on a clear day. Pause at the Veterans Memorial before descending Hillside Drive, where cliffside estates cling to the mountain and showcase La Jolla’s luxury and drama. La Jolla Shores & The Sandcastle Secret Our finale is La Jolla Shores, a wide, family-friendly beach alive with surfers, kayakers, and snorkelers. From here, see Scripps Pier and the distant outline of Torrey Pines. If tides allow, we’ll slip down a hidden alley to a secret stretch of sand revealing exclusive homes, including the whimsical French-inspired “sandcastle estate.” With photo stops at every turn and the comfort of an open-air cart, this tour delivers La Jolla’s beauty, history, and hidden gems without the stress of parking, walking, or navigating. By the end, you’ll feel like a local — sun-kissed, smiling, and full of stories to share.
